The process of building Fugal Productions’ brand.

Our branding at Fugal Productions was something that needed time and energy to create. I started off with designing the logo. Many different ideas came to mind, but I wanted to make sure both the Photography and Videography from our company was represented.

As you can see, there were many different ideas before the FP (made of a film reel and a shutter) was born. I made this version first. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t quite what I was looking for either.

At this point, I hadn’t come up with the logo we use now so I went back to the “drawing board” to come up with other options. After getting some inspiration from the internet, I came up with the branding that represents our company today.

After the logo was built, it was time for the rest of the branding to come alive. I decided to build a mock for business cards, t-shirts, and mugs. These are products that we were most likely to use in our company. I wanted a bold brand so the “bold red,” “light grey,” and “almost black” were perfect options for our brand.
